Rockerstar

Music has always been a part of my life. Everyone in my immediate family can play some kind of instrument and sing so it was not hard for me to fall in love with music. Music has alway filled the house and it is hardly quiet with music from The Beatles to Selena to Christian Worship music. As mentioned in one previous post I lead worship for my church and I also play in a separate band and play all over the place. 

I have been playing the guitar now for 11 years and they have been the best part of my life. I can not wait to go further, get better, and have even better time of my life. 

Knowledge is Power

I've been homeschooled my whole life, from pre-K to high school. It saved me, literally. I think I would've turned into a monster if I went to public school. Why? Because I like fighting, a lot. It gives me such an adrenaline rush, but other than that, I don't know why I like it so much. Nonetheless, I am thankful for homeschooling and I am thankful that I didn't turn into that monster. Now I am becoming who I am wanting to be and it starts with me getting an education. College was my first taste of public school and so far it's been a fun ride! I am currently attending LoneStar Community College and I plan to transfer to MediaTech Institute and get my certification in Audio Engineering. The best thing is that I have about a year and a half left for me to get my associates and I cannot wait to finish!

This is who I am

Timothy Marquez is who I am and I am twenty-three years old. You can categorize me by the three things mentioned in the title of my blogger; Jesus freak, rock star, and a simple man. I love Jesus and have been addicted to Him since since the age of nine years old. My passion of music was found at church by helping in the worship team, and eventually leading the worship every Sunday morning. In addition, simplicity is what rules my life. It does not take much for me to enjoy life, all I would need is to be with my family or close friends in a small gathered setting for me to have the time of my life.
